About the team: Eight years ago, Route 22 began its journey as a team for BC Transit employees from across the company to get to know each other and for team building. The crew is comprised of different divisions, departments, and staffing levels: Service people, transit operators (drivers), supervisors, directors, admin support, and Vice Presidents are all represented. Route 22 has enjoyed many successes over their seasons and look forward to many more.
Coach: Cara Weirmier. Has been paddling since 2006. Currently paddles with the Gorging Dragons Premier High-Performance Team.
Festivals attended: FGPC Super Sprints, Victoria Dragon Boat Festival, and FGPC Guts and Glory.
