About the team: Brand new for 2024, VI Paddling is excited to bring its popular expedited Learn-To-Dragon-Boat program to Nanaimo! This is your chance to dragon boat race at Nanaimo’s Maffeo Sutton Park! Learn from Vancouver Island’s dragon boat experts, with support from Mid Island Masters dragon boat team – and join this brand-new team for the 2024 Nanaimo Dragon Boat Regatta on Saturday, July 13th. Skilled coaches will teach you everything that you need to know in 4 easy practices leading up to the big race. You’ll participate in 3-4 races on July 13th.
